Did you know that you can access customer health and engagement metrics directly in Salesforce? If configured, everyone on your sales teams can rely on the same valuable data points from Totango–embedded into your sales-focused command center. Use these insights for conversation catalysts with your Customer Success counterpart.

#1 Early warning signals

Health rank shows how a customer is doing, according to a pre-defined "ideal" profile. This simple classification of Good, Average, or Poor, gives you a quick indicator of customer state. More on health metrics in a moment.

#2: Expansion indicators

If you have product usage enabled, Totango provides activity metrics on how your customers are using your product. These metrics provide snapshots over the last 2 weeks with regard to intensity of usage, number of active users, and frequency. In this example above, the account is contracted for 20 users, so they are at 110% of allocation—could be time to recommend an upsell for more licenses!

#3: Historical context

If you do have a Totango user license and are logged into Totango, you can click into the widget view more insights. Here, you’ll be able to more deeply analyze health metrics. You can also look back at health snapshots over time. In this example, this account had a contract value change at a time when health was poor. As we approach the next renewal, we can see the customer is recovering and getting back on track! And, if you are logged into Totango, click the shortcut to open the account profile for even more details.
