Did you know you can easily log meeting notes and tasks for all your accounts from one spot? Check out these examples to boost your productivity in Totango.

First, create an account segment that includes all your accounts. If you haven’t done this before, use the My Portfolio shortcut when creating a new segment, and adjust the filters as you see fit. We recommend saving a copy of this segment to your personal folder so you can easily access it later.

Once saved, keep this segment up as you work. If your list is large, use the segment search to isolate an account. Hover over the account name and click the Preview icon. This account preview includes key information from the account profile, such as status, health, contacts, and more. You can also toggle to the Timeline tab to review all recent communications and the Plan tab to see strategic planning and other work.

From anywhere in the preview window, use the green plus sign to add a touchpoint or create a task. Click add touchpoint to document internal notes, strategic discussions, escalations, risks, or any other customer engagement. Fill in the appropriate fields such as touchpoint type, participants, your notes, touchpoint reason, and flow. Or, select the appropriate template if applicable. To send this touchpoint as an email, make the appropriate selection before clicking save.

You can add a task from the touchpoint, or separately from the green plus sign. Use tasks to set reminders for yourself or notify a team member of an action needed. Choose a flow and be sure to set an appropriate due date so that Totango can help keep you accountable for completion. 

Once finished, you can return to your account segment and carry on with your day.
