Totango "Viewers" can access read only platform functionality for purposes of visibility into customer data, workflows, and performance.

As a Viewer, I log into Totango just like other users. I can manage my profile, including my notification preferences. If I’m assigned to multiple teams, I can switch between them and view the account scope allowed by each team. I can view account details, but I cannot have an account assignment role nor update any attributes. I can, however, view contact and user details. I can also navigate to My Portfolio, published SuccessBLOCs, and Executive Console (excluding Revenue Center).

Within My Portfolio, I can’t filter by my activity, but I can see the My Portfolio widget, view notifications for my team’s activities, and view tasks and SuccessPlays. I can create my own segments to manipulate filters and review results on the fly, but I cannot save them for future use. I can also search for any public segments saved within published SuccessBLOCs.

Within SuccessBLOCs, I can view all tabs that are published within the BLOC and view individual items, such as SuccessPlays, campaigns, assets, reports, and KPIs. Finally, I can explore the Journey Marketplace but cannot add SuccessBLOCs.

Typical work streams for Viewers might look like this:

  • George is an executive. He uses Totango to view customer health–both at a macro level for customer segments and individual account level to help make decisions about customer renewals and expansion efforts.
  • Mary is a Product Manager. She uses Totango to get broad visibility into the full range of customers and their product utilization.
  • JJ is a Support Director. He uses Totango to view recent customer actions and conversations they’ve had with the customer success team to help him prioritize business-critical tickets for his team.
